HSE Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an HSE professional to join our Channel Island operations as HSE Manager.  The postholder will be expected to take a proactive lead in ensuring that a safe working environment is maintained and that internal HSE policies and procedures are fully implemented and complied with across all Company sites in Jersey, Guernsey, and Alderney.  The role will include providing guidance and training to management and staff on HSE topics and the postholder will need to be fully conversant with all applicable HSE legislation.  The position can be based in either Jersey or Guernsey but the successful candidate will need to be prepared to visit the Company’s other locations in the Channel Islands on a regular basis.

The role also involves acting as the Channel Islands lead for the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility activities, including regular reporting to the Group on CSR matters. 

Candidates should have previous experience of working in an HSE capacity and will ideally have a background in the energy sector.  A competitive salary and benefits package, including Company pension scheme and annual discretionary bonus scheme, will be offered.

Fuel Attendants – Full and Part Time

We have openings for additional full-time and part-time Fuel Attendants to work at Rubis Forecourts at Sion, First Tower, and Red Houses.

Candidates will preferably have experience of working on a fuel forecourt although full training will be given. The roles will involve working in accordance with a shift pattern which may include evening and/or weekend working. Good customer service skills are essential.

Solar PV Installer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading player in the energy sector and to assist with the growth of a new initiative within the renewables field. The successful candidate will be instrumental in helping to develop renewable solar photovoltaic (PV) solutions for both commercial and domestic markets. The role will include the surveying, design, pricing, installation, fault finding and commissioning of solar PV systems together with developing maintenance and servicing routines.

Candidates should ideally possess the solar PV installers certificate accredited by either NICEIC, City & Guilds, BPEC or NVQ. NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical accreditation would be an added advantage but is not essential.
