BUSINESS ANALYST

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a small Jersey based team of finance professionals. Principal duties would include:

• Creating a detailed business analysis over areas including sales volumes and sales margins and producing monthly reports on same
• Reporting bi-weekly to management on key business metrics
• Variance analysis comparing actual data to budget and prior year
• Assisting with annual budgeting and forecasting exercises
• Analysing cost of stock movements and impacts
• Ad-hoc assistance with daily finance tasks, including accounts payable and treasury

Candidates should have previous experience within a financial control environment and must possess excellent Excel skills.

FINANCIAL OFFICER

An opening exists for an experienced Financial Officer to join a small Jersey based team of finance professionals. Principal duties would include:

• Monitoring of bank accounts and weekly cash forecasting
• Processing of bank transactions and reconciliations
• Reconciliation of company credit card statements and allocation of costs
• Processing of supplier invoices and preparing payments
• Processing of stock invoices and monthly reconciliations
• Daily reconciliation and processing of transactions for Retail sites
• Preparation of Monthly Reporting documentation
• Production of management information

Candidates will ideally be AAT/part ACCA qualified and will have worked previously within a financial control environment.

COMMERCIAL AND RETAIL OPERATIONS MANAGER (CHANNEL ISLANDS)

The Commercial and Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the Rubis operated forecourts in Jersey, together with managing the relationships with our dealer operated forecourt partners in both Jersey and Guernsey. He or she will also be responsible for building and developing new relationships with commercial customers, alongside managing and servicing existing relationships.

This is an exciting and challenging role which would suit someone with proven experience at managerial level in the commercial or retail sector. Candidates should be able to build and maintain strong relationships with our commercial and retail partners, coupled with the ability to manage a team of staff. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential and candidates should be self-starters with the confidence to work on their own initiative.

IT OFFICER (CHANNEL ISLANDS)

This is a challenging and interesting position which involves providing on the ground IT support, coupled with acting as the primary interface with the Company’s outsourced IT support provider. In addition, the post holder will be expected to play a key part in project managing the Company’s IT projects and initiatives.

Candidates should be IT professionals with excellent technical knowledge and the ability to project manage a diverse range of IT projects. Good organizational and communication skills are essential.

FUEL ATTENDANTS - FULL AND PART TIME

We have openings for additional full-time and part-time Fuel Attendants to work at Rubis Forecourts at Sion, First Tower and Red Houses.

Candidates will preferably have experience of working on a fuel forecourt although full training will be given. The roles will involve working in accordance with a shift pattern which may include evening and/or weekend working. Good customer service skills are essential.

SOLAR PV INSTALLER

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading player in the energy sector and to assist with the growth of a new initiative within the renewables field. The successful candidate will be instrumental in helping to develop renewable solar photovoltaic (PV) solutions for both commercial and domestic markets. The role will include the surveying, design, pricing, installation, fault finding and commissioning of solar PV systems together with developing maintenance and servicing routines.

Candidates should ideally possess the solar PV installers certificate accredited by either NICEIC, City & Guilds, BPEC or NVQ. NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical accreditation would be an added advantage but is not essential.
