Rubis Channel Islands is proud to sponsor one of Jersey's largest events, once again!
“We are delighted to bring the Jersey International Motoring Festival back to the roads of St. Helier for another year,” said JIMF Event Co-ordinator Steve Salmon. “The festival is a celebration of everything that is great about motoring, from classic cars to cutting-edge technology. We are grateful for Rubis’ support as the title sponsor of the event, and we look forward to welcoming motoring enthusiasts and spectators from around the world to Jersey for a weekend of exciting events and activities.”
The festival will begin on Thursday 30 May 2024, with a rolling roadshow motorsport demonstration in the evening followed by a bit of motorsport. On Friday 31 May, visitors can experience the exciting moonlight sprint on Victoria avenue, perfect if you love loud motors, and speed to keep you on your toes!
While Saturday 1 June and Sunday 2 June will feature the popular Westmount Hillclimb, the festival will also include the crowd-favourite Active Arena, which promises to be a thrilling experience to end the event. The festival will include a variety of exhibitions, including displays of classic and vintage cars, motorcycles, and racing vehicles. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet owners and enthusiasts and learn about the rich history of motoring. In addition, there will be a range of activities for all ages, including live music, food and drink, and children’s entertainment.
“Our partnership with the Jersey International Motoring Festival is evidence of our commitment to the community in which we work and live. We are extremely proud to be involved with such a vibrant and enjoyable event which helps to showcase the passion for motorsport in the Island. Not only does the festival provide great opportunities for locals to showcase their talents, but it also provides entertainment and a wonderful platform to encourage visitors to the Island who, in turn, play a vital part in supporting our local economy.
The Jersey International Motoring Festival can only thrive following the tireless dedication of the organisers and volunteers, and I would like to thank everyone involved in making this event the success it is. On behalf of Rubis Channel Islands, I welcome you all and hope you and your families enjoy all that is planned for this year’s festival,” said Alain Carreau (Managing Director of Rubis Channel Islands).
