What an incredible four days it was, filled with unforgettable moments and adrenaline-pumping action. We want to take a moment to share a brief overview of the Jersey International Motoring Festival 2023 with you.
From Thursday 1st June 2023 to Sunday 4th June 2023, the festival captivated the hearts of approximately 40,000 attendees. It was a gathering of motoring enthusiasts, speed lovers, and thrill-seekers, all eager to witness the awe-inspiring events that unfolded over the course of these four unforgettable days.
What happened at the Jersey International Motoring Festival 2023?
The festival roared to life with the Rolling Road Show on Victoria Avenue, a dynamic showcase of motorsport action, speed, and mind-blowing stunts. As the sun began to set, painting the sky with vibrant colours, the evening took on a magical touch, enhancing the already electrifying atmosphere. We took this opportunity to express our gratitude to our staff and clients who have contributed immensely to our success this year. Our private event, held from 7:30pm to 10:30pm, was a night of celebration, camaraderie, and appreciation for the hard work and business conducted so far.
Friday 2nd June 2023:
The much-anticipated Moonlight Sprints took centre stage, igniting the night with a spectacle of speed and elegance. Starting at 7pm and running until 11:30pm, the event featured an impressive lineup of classic cars, awe-inspiring motorbikes, and even the iconic Alfa Romeo 182, which placed on the podium in the 1982 Monaco Grand Prix. The Moonlight Sprints were a true testament to the timeless allure and power of these magnificent vehicles.
Saturday 3rd June 2023 & Sunday 4th June 2023:
Prepare to be amazed by the Westmount Hill Climb! From 10am to 5:30pm each day, the hill echoed with the thunderous roar of engines as fearless drivers pushed their limits, racing against the clock in a thrilling display of skill and precision. People’s Park and West Park came alive, with static displays, vibrant trade stands, tantalizing food and drink stalls, and a lively music stage. Whilst Sunday also brought the active arena to life, where cars burned rubber, motorbikes soared through the air in jaw-dropping wheelies, and a plethora of other daring tricks left us in awe.
We would like to give a HUGE thank you to the JIMF organisers, volunteers and drivers for putting on an amazing two evenings of entertainment. We hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did!
