There’s nothing quite like a roaring fire during the cold winter months. This year, you can enjoy these cosy moments and help the environment. Coffee Logs are eco-friendly fire logs made from recycled coffee grounds. (But don’t worry, they don’t smell like coffee).
Collecting used grounds from a wide range of businesses in the UK – including universities, instant coffee factories, coffee shops, airports and railway stations – Coffee Logs recycles these, harnessing the untapped energy left behind, to create a green energy source. This process also reduces emissions, caused by coffee grounds left in landfill, by 80%.
Each log contains grounds from 25 cups of coffee, that quickly adds up to 400 cups per bag. Coffee Logs are ideal for use in wood burners and multi-fuel stoves, burning 20% hotter and longer than kiln-dried wood.
