Guernsey Motoring Festival – Seafront Sunday
Following on from the success of last year’s Motorsport Seafront Sunday event, we shall be participating again this year on Sunday 22nd July.
If you are not familiar with the very successful Seafront Sunday events do try to make the time to visit. On Sundays throughout the summer St Peter Port seafront is closed to traffic and transforms into a sea of eclectic market stalls showcasing their products. There are a fantastic culinary choice of food stalls too and various restaurants spilling out onto the seafront to provide a real “alfresco” vibe.
The event is FREE and open from 10am until 4pm.
This Sunday, the event as part of the Guernsey Motoring Festival, will offer a wide array of vehicles to enjoy as well as displays from a large range of local motoring and motorcycle clubs. Many motorsport competitors will be displaying their vehicles on the seafront, and making themselves available to the talk about the sport and their machines. In the Live Arena there will be various demonstrations and parades and you can also enjoy the thrills of the Twisty Sprint too!
Pop along and say hello, we will be located in the same place as last year; along the seafront just outside Victoria’s Boutique. If you need a new tank or boiler – you may be interested in our current special offer, please click here for more information.
The seafront will be closed between the Weighbridge Roundabout and the start of the Quay from opposite the Town Church with effect from 8am until 6pm. However, there will be free parking in St Peter Port at the following locations:-
- Salerie Corner Car Park
- North Beach East Arm Car Park
- Castle Emplacement Bottom of the Val des Terres
We look forward to seeing you and welcoming you to the festival.
